We had
a terrible day in Steelville this week-
it just
never seemed to end. It began with the
news
that my pastor's father had passed away,
next, a
friend was in a terrible car crash on
her way
home from work and broke her neck,
then we
heard a neighbor had hung himself
(at
34!) AND the ending of that awful day
here
was the news that a 2 year old boy had
snuck
out of the house while his Mommy was
busy
and gotten behind the riding lawn mower
his
Daddy was on and gotten run over by it-
he lost
a foot, almost lost his arm and has
to have
extensive facial surgery but the good
news is
he is alive and doing well, so I hear.
I was
never so glad to see a day end! :-(

When
our lawn mower broke and wouldn't run, my wife
kept
hinting to me that I should get it fixed but,
somehow
I always had something else to take care of
first
-- the truck, the car, fishing, always something
more
important to me ...
Finally
she thought of a clever way to make her point.

arrived home one day, I found her seated in the
tall
grass, busily snipping away with a tiny pair of
sewing
scissors. I watched silently for a short time
and
then went into the house.

gone only a few minutes.

came out again, I handed her a toothbrush.

Hi Jan,
I see
that you have had a bounce from your charter.net
addy. I
have not received any mailings at my charter
addy
for almost two years now. I set up a gmail address
just so
I could receive Rim Digest [and a few other
pretenders].
Charter continues to filter out newsletters
that I
want to receive, so I continue to resubscribe
at my
gmail account. Works well, but is definately
annoying.
They [Charter] seem to be on a mission to
redefine
'bad customer service'.
Keep up

agree it is a shame, charter is the ISP we PAY for
and
they even have blocked MY newsletter FROM ME, lol- yet
the
ones we do not have to pay for give us more options
and
freedom, what IS up with that?
