I can barely believe that my *newest* grandson turned

two on the 4th. And now I am allowed to announce that

Crystal, my oldest daughter and the mother of Madison

( now 5 ) and Aiden ( now 2 ) is going to deliever

the tie-breaker early this fall.

This will make grandchild #4 - Brayden, my son Justin's

son, will be 3 in May and your editor turns 57 on the

20th of this month, gulp!

I have exciting news for Rim Digest ezine as well-

I finally got around to creating a fan page on Facebook

FOR the ezine: http://www.facebook.com/RimDigestEzine

I would dearly love and appreciate it if my beloved

readers would go "like" the page and leave a comment!

The Difference Between Copyediting and Proofreading

I did not truly understand the difference until I read

and then used this article!

When I proofread for my clients, I make the needed changes –

be it spelling, grammar or slight revisions to make things

sound more clear – and did not realize I was also copyediting!

I just called it “editing” and figured that covered it.

One of my very favorite ezines for writers is Daily Writing Tips,

and this is their last article, which I just had to share.

(Yes, I got permission months ago to share these with the

promise to always point back to them.)
