I want to show you how to get a 100% conversion rate

on your website traffic. This is not a sales pitch &

there is nothing to buy. There is no squeeze page that

is designed to sell you anything later either.

This is an event that you should know about...

First there was Pay Per Click advertising which pays you

on the small percentage of website visitors that actually

click on an advertisement.

Now there is "Pay Per Play" advertising that will pay you

on 100% of your website traffic... NO CLICKS NECESSARY!

Pay Per Play caters to an audience that is larger

than radio, television and print media combined!

Welcome to 2008 and may we all have a wonderful

and prosperous new year! Thanks for staying with

me as we near OUR eighth year together, which

will be on February 10! Geez, guess I had more

inclination to do an ezine than I thought, lol.

Almost eight years later, I still love doing Rim

and still love all of you.  :-)

Thanks to the endless help from Sharon both my online

store http://www.downmemorylanetreasures.com/

and my re-do of the digital one

are coming along way past any dreams I would have had

for them and I am SO ready to be working only from home

again. Yipee! :-)

5 Important Rules in Website Design

When it comes to your website, extra attention should be

paid to every detail to make sure it performs well and

serves its purpose. Here are five important rules that

can ensure that your website performs well.

1) Do not use splash pages

Splash pages are the first pages you see when you arrive

at a website. They normally have a very beautiful image

with words like "welcome" or "click here to enter". In

fact, they are just that -- pretty additions with no real

purpose. Do not let your visitors have a reason to click

on the "back" button. Give them the value of your site up

front without the splash page.

2) Do not use excessive banners and link advertisements

Even the least net savvy people have trained themselves

to ignore banner advertisements so you will be wasting

valuable website space. Instead, provide more

valueable content and weave relevant related products

you offer or affiliate links into your content, and

let your visitors feel that they want to buy instead

of being pushed to buy.

3) Use simple and clear navigation

Provide a simple and very straightforward navigation menu

so that even a young child will know how to use it.

Stay away from complicated Flash based menus or

multi-tiered dropdown menus. If your visitors don't

know how to navigate, they will leave your site.

4) Have a clear indication of where the visitor is

When visitors are deeply engrossed in browsing your site,

make sure they know which part of the site they are in at

that moment. That way, they will be able to browse

relevant information or navigate to any section of

the site easily. Don't confuse your visitors because

confusion means they will usually LEAVE.

5) Avoid using obstrusive audio on your site

If your visitor is going to stay a long time at your site,

reading your content, you will want to make sure he or she

is not annoyed by some audio looping on and on at your

website. If you insist on adding audio, make sure they

have some control over it -- volume or muting controls

would work fine. Visit my parter site and get some great

tips and help WITH using audio and video on YOUR site:
