It has
been a terrible week for my family and sadly,
it is
not yet over. I updated my blog:
http://jantallent.blogspot.com/
and
will not take the space to announce any sad news
here.
Since my subs ARE my other FAMILY, I feel a need
to
share something this important so it is up to you
to go
read it or not.
I hope
everyone had a nice 4th of July whether or not
you
celebrate this holiday. Mine was nice and LAZY,
just
what I wanted, lol. The most energetic things I
did
were go to tent revival, watch fireworks & FISH!

Internet
Based Business Opportunities
If you
are one of the many people who dreams about becoming
a
successful home based business entrepreneur, then your
dreams
can still come true.
With
the number of internet based business opportunities
available
today, all you need to do is choose one that
you
want to invest in.
First
of all, the great thing about internet based biz
is that
unlike traditional businesses, you don't need
an
actual storefront to sell your product from. You can
do
business right at the comfort of your home and the
net can
provide you with a much larger range of potential
clients,
namely, the whole world!
One
website can accommodate every person in the planet
who has
access to the internet and what's more, your
store
will be open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week
except
for any website maintenance days and updates.
However,
you need to remember that starting an online
business
is not some "get rich quick" thing. You need
to work
hard in order to become successful.
So,
just how do you find the best internet based
business
for YOU?
In
order to be successful, here are some ways that
you can
find a good business opportunity that can
spell
sure income.
The
first thing that you should remember is the business
model
or the premise. The business you should go for is
one
that has a strong demand in the community. It should
have
real value and be something you are genuinely
interested
in. Try to have realistic expectations and
do not
spend all your money just to build a customer base.
Most
online businesses today can immediately generate
income
if you do it right.
Another
thing that you need to remember is that the
business
you plan on investing in should be a business
that
can grow. You can start small, but you need to try
to
study about the business and find out if it has the
potential
to grow. It is important to remember that the
business
you plan on putting up should potentially scale
up to
whatever kind of business size you wish it to have.
It can
be starting small to cover one state that can
potentially
grow to a nationwide business or even grow
to a
business that can cover other countries.
The
right business should also depend on your budget.
Ask
yourself how much you plan on investing in a business
and try
making a feasibility study on the business you
plan on
going into. By doing this, you will be able to
have an
idea on how much money you are potentially
going
to spend just to make the business a success.
Lastly,
a good online business is one that has a potential
to
achieve whatever goals you set. Ask yourself if you are
just
investing in it to make extra cash, or you plan on
making
it a replacement for your current job. Your choice
of
business will largely depend on its potential to make
money.
These
are the things that you need to know about internet
based
business opportunity. If you are presented with an
online
business opportunity, don't just jump in and invest.
Try to
study it and determine if this business is really
for you
or not and if it has the potential to make money.

Feedback
Hi,
Jan:
Sorry
to hear about your bankruptcy plans.
Just
happened that I ran across this little site
that
made me think of you. It's advice and
information
in the form of "How To" tips.
Hope
this helps:

hi, Heidi, dunno, was feeling out the idea but
am
getting a LOT of response. I am sure it would be
on a
job by job basis and plan to do a lot of checking
for
others who do it and set my prices low enough to
get
some beginner exposure but high enough to retain
everyones'
value, if that makes sense?

Recipe
for Success
by Jan
Tallent
You
already have the desire to build a business.
Do you
also have the drive that will make it happen?
Remind
yourself every time you get discouraged of your
goal
and the fact that once you achieve it, all will
be
worth it. You will have to mix in some stubbornness
quite
often, both toward those who will belittle your
efforts
and your biggest critic, who will be YOU.
Give
yourself a reasonable amount of time to accomplish
this
building of your business! If 90% of all wanna-be
marketers
give up in the first 90 days that should tell
you
that they did not give themselves a reasonable enough
amount
of time to get there. I hear from many who expect
to be
making as much as on their day *job* within 2 or 3
months
and give up if they do not make it by then.
It is a
business just like any other and it all
takes
TIME!
We have
so many advantages in a 'net business that
are not
there with a brick and mortar one: no rent
to pay,
no extra utilities, etc. plus so many online
businesses
can be run with no inventory to stock
or even
products to buy.
It
takes a "real world" business about 5 years to get
to
profit mode and it will be much sooner than that
with an
online business, so be reasonable with your
expectations
and you can make it happen.
I would
say give it a year, at least, to be sure
you are
dedicated, able and can do it.
Perserverence
will be a full time job when you first
start
building your online business. The old saying
"Practice
makes perfect" is only true if you are doing
it
right when you practice, but if you really want to
make it
and believe in yourself and do not give up,
you
WILL!
You
will have to be firm but still flexible.
You
need to focus on your goals, keep working at your
promotion
and advertising agenda but be ready to try
new
things or different versions of old things until
you hit
on the perfect formula for YOU and then work
it like
nothing else you have ever done. Once you
start
nearing your goal, do not allow yourself to
slack
off and lose ground, keep at it like a dog
with a
favorite bone.
If you
take these ingredients and mix well, you will
BE a
success. I know, I have done it and so can YOU!
Just
believe in yourself and instead of saying
"I
might be able to" or "I probably can" remind
yourself
that you WILL!
