We have
finally gotten some relief from the awful heat
and
humidity, yesterday's high was under 90 AND today,
at 4pm central
USA time, I think it is still about 80!
We had
three, I think, 3 digit days already in JULY
and it
is bad enough that August is pretty much all
3 digit
days. The coolness was apparently brought on
or at
least contributed to by the terrible storms we
have
been having but I guess it is a fair trade off, lol.
Funny
how quickly this old lady can move when the first
sound
of thunder or *feel* of lightning comes - I unplug
everything
but freezers and refrigerators and live with
the
fear that one or more of those will get hit by my
NOT
doing so. But I admit happily to being quite paranoid-
over
the 24 years I have lived in this old house, so far
2
refrigerators, 2 TV's, a computer, a laptop, a DVD player
and 5
phone lines along with the cable FOR my laptop that
fried
and 2 answering machines connected TO phones that
were
struck, HAVE been struck. They say lightning will
not hit
the same place twice, exactly WHAT place do
"they"
mean? I am here to tell you that it can and does!
I want
to welcome quite a few new subscribers since last
Thursday's
mailing, you are very much appreciated and
I
sincerely hope you will find some value in OUR ezine
and
