Well, we are now on Daylight
Savings Time here in the US.
Hopefully that means it is
really and truly going to be Spring
as well. I know this winter
has not really been any longer
than my other 55 of them but
it sure has felt like it was.
I am finally ready to
downsize from my huge OLD decrepit
7 room with 2 1/2 baths
house and am looking for a small
one - the only real
requirement will be that it have a huge
kitchen or decent sized
kitchen and a dining room.
I can set up my home office
pretty much anywhere so am really
looking forward to a small
and LOW maintenance place. The heat
bills have been killing me
for years but I do just fine the
rest of the year so have
been lax on actually giving up all
of the room I have with this
old house BUT there is also the
pack rat factor - I know I
would be happy with 1/10th of
the "stuff" I have
but when you have this much room to store
stuff in, you do, lol.
I am hoping to trade this
huge fixer-upper and the resultant
maintenance problems and
utility bills. Please wish me luck
on this. I will be 57 in
April and after almost 26 years
in this house I raised 3
kids in, I am ready to start anew.
